Grand Canyon Train & Grand Canyon South Rim

Kiwanis Recreation Center and Wave Pool

Welcome to the Valley’s only indoor seasonal wave pool! This fun-filled facility features three foot waves in eight varying patterns, with climate controlled waters year-round. The pool also includes a 122 feet long by 16 feet tall double spiral water slide and six lap lanes. Raft and tube rentals are available, along with family, women’s and men’s changing rooms and restrooms.

Musical Instrument Museum

The World’s Only Global Musical Instrument Museum®.  MIM displays more than 7,000 instruments collected from around 200 of the world’s countries and territories. Most displays are enhanced by state-of-the-art audio and video technologies that allow guests to see the instruments, hear their sounds, and observe them being played in their original contexts—performances that are often as spectacular as the instruments themselves. What’s more, all guests are invited to play instruments from around the world in the Experience Gallery. They can also see instruments from music icons such as Elvis Presley®, Johnny Cash, Pablo Casals, Buddy Rich, “King” Sunny Adé, Clara Rockmore, Maroon 5, and many more in the Artist Gallery.

Arizona Science Center

Arizona Science Center provides exploration, education and entertainment for all ages. Nestled in the picturesque setting of Heritage and Science Park, the Science Center is a unique landmark designed by renowned architect Antoine Predock. The combination of ramps, hallways, galleries and terraces in this 140,000-square-foot building creates an intriguing environment of investigation and discovery. The Center contains four levels of exciting “hands-on” exhibits, a state-of-the-art planetarium, and a 5-story high giant-screen theater. The exhibits and galleries are designed to educate and entertain kids of all ages — from pre-K to gray! Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, the Science Center is within walking distance to nearby attractions such as Heritage Square, Phoenix Convention Center, Talking Stick Resort Arena, Chase Field, the Arizona Center and more.

Heard Museum

The internationally acclaimed Heard Museum is one of the best places to experience the myriad cultures and art of American Indians of the Southwest. Located on Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix, the museum hosts 200,000 visitors a year and “provides Indian artists with a wonderful home that will excite and inspire visitors from around the world,” according to Arizona Highways. The museum’s 11 spacious exhibit galleries and beautiful outdoor courtyards feature outstanding traditional and contemporary American Indian art. The Heard Museum Shop offers an array of authentic Native art, while the Berlin Gallery features outstanding contemporary fine art for purchase. Old Town Scottsdale

The Old Town—also known as Downtown— district of Scottsdale offers boutique shopping featuring souvenirs, jewelry and art with a Southwestern flair. A density of lounges, restaurants and clubs offer myriad dining and nightlife opportunities within short distance of each other. And art fans can peruse the galleries of Main Street and visit the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West.

Phoenix Zoo

The zoo has over 1,400 animals on display and contains 2.5 miles of walking trails It is divided into four main themed areas or trails: The Arizona Trail (American Southwest flora and fauna), the Africa Trail (animals from Africa), the Tropics Trail (residents of the rain forests), and the Children’s Trail, which includes a petting zoo.

SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium

Dive into SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium! Discover thousands of amazing creatures and walk through the incredible 360-degree ocean tunnel. SEA LIFE Arizona is built for kids with child-level viewing bubbles and an interactive scavenger hunt. Now Open – the Colorado River Adventure! OdySea Aquarium

OdySea Aquarium, located in Scottsdale, was voted Best Indoor Attraction in Arizona.  This multi-level, state-of-the-art facility holds more than 2 million gallons of water and is the largest aquarium in Arizona. OdySea Aquarium offers an educational, interactive and entertaining experience for guests of all ages by combining theme-park style amusement with highly engaging presentations of aquatic life. OdySea Aquarium features more than 65 exhibits, 370 species, the world’s only Russian Sturgeon touch exhibit as well as two stingray touch exhibits and a tide touch pool! Phoenix Art Museum

Since it opened in 1959, Phoenix Art Museum has become the largest art museum in the southwestern United States providing access to visual arts and educational programs in Arizona. In the last fifty years millions have visited the museum to view the over four hundred national and international exhibitions it has hosted. These are shown alongside Phoenix Art Museum’s collection that has grown to over seventeen thousand objects of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern and contemporary art, photography, and fashion design. The museum hosts photography exhibitions through its landmark partnership with The University of Arizona’s Center for Creative Photography in Tucson. Visitors can also enjoy the interactive PhxArtKids gallery and the lush Dorrance Sculpture Garden.

Sedona & Red Rock Country
