Day 1

Day 1 | Sunday – November 19

  • Depart, this afternoon, on your overnight drive to our nation’s capital
Day 2

Day 2 | Monday – November 20

  • Breakfast is on your own, en-route
  • Lunch is on your own
  • The Smithsonian Institution and local DC
  • Check into your hotel
  • Dinner is included
Day 3

Day 3 | Tuesday – November 21

  • Breakfast is included at the hotel
  • Visit to Arlington National Cemetery, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Changing
    of the Guard, Pentagon 911 Memorial, etc. – locally-guided
  • Lunch is on your own
  • Afternoon at the Smithsonian Institution Museums
  • Dinner is included
  • This evening – Locally-guided evening walking tour to include: WWII Memorial, Korean War
    Veterans Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial

Day 4 | Wednesday – November 22

  • Breakfast is included at the hotel
  • Morning at the museums of the Smithsonian Institution Museums
  • Lunch is on your own
  • Locally-guided tour of D.C., to include most, or all, of the following: U.S. Capitol, Jefferson Memorial, Washington Monument, Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, National Mall, Ford’s Theater, Library of Congress, Union Station, Marine Corps Iwo Jima Memorial, etc.

  • Depart for Philadelphia

Individual Cancellation Schedule

INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION SCHEDULE:

Grueninger is required to pay all suppliers well in advance of your tour date. All suppliers have their own cancellation policies, which apply to your booking. Should a cancellation become necessary, please inform Grueninger immediately in writing and request a written confirmation of your cancellation. Upon, receipt, Grueninger will follow industry procedures for any applicable refunds as outlined in the supplier’s terms and subject to their review. If you are entitled to a refund, please note that the supplier is responsible for the amount and timing of the refund, not Grueninger.  Generally, flight tickets, hotel accommodations and other items provided for the travel cannot be refunded if they are partially used. Grueninger is not responsible for a supplier’s failure to pay a refund. 

In event an individual must cancel the following schedule will apply using the estimated individual package cost and any non-recoverable costs set forth by Grueninger for the purpose of acquiring vendor services:

Until 91 days prior to departure any non-refundable vendor or incurred costs
From 90 days to 61 days 25% of the per person trip cost plus any non-refundable vendor or incurred costs
From 60 days to 46 days 50% of the per person trip cost plus any non-refundable vendor or incurred costs
From 45 days to 0 days 100% of the per person trip cost

Because we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy, travel protection coverage is strongly recommended
