Day 1 – Saturday, December 28, 2024

  • Depart by motorcoach for Los Angeles, CA early this morning*
  • Full day’s travel to Los Angeles
  • Lunch en route (on own)
  • Private group check-in at a Long Beach hotel
  • Dinner (on own)

Day 2 – Sunday, December 29, 2024

  • Enjoy breakfast in the hotel (included)
  • View the 2025 Rose Parade floats in Pasadena
  • Box lunch (included)
  • Tournament of Roses Bandfest to watch the Pebble Hills Marching Band perform (specific time based on scheduling by Tournament of Roses)
  • Dinner (on own)

Day 3 – Monday, December 30, 2024

  • Enjoy breakfast in the hotel (included)
  • Spend the Day at Disneyland & Disney’s California Adventure (park hopper pass)
  • Watch the Pebble Hills Marching Band perform today in Disneyland 
  • Lunch and dinner (on own)

*For those choosing to travel to the Los Angeles area on their own, the tour (and motorcoach transportation) will begin at the hotel.  Flights to and from the Los Angeles area are not included. In addition, travelers are responsible for transportation to the tour which begins at the hotel on 12/28/24 and ends after breakfast at the hotel on 1/2/25.

Day 4 – Tuesday, December 31, 2024

  • Enjoy breakfast in the hotel (included)
  • Visit Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, view the famous footprints and handprints at the TCL Theater and see the Hollywood sign
  • Have lunch at the Original Farmer’s Market (on own)
  • Visit Santa Monica Beach & Pier
  • Dinner (on own) this evening
  • Early to bed

Day 5 – Wednesday, January 1, 2025

  • Box breakfast from the hotel (included)
  • Take your reserved Grandstand seat  for the 136th Rose Parade
  • Return to hotel following the parade
  • Lunch (on own)
  • Free time in and around Long Beach
  • Attend the Dinner Dance Celebration Event with the band (included)

Day 6 – Thursday, January 2, 2025

  • Enjoy breakfast in the hotel prior to checkout (included)
  • Depart from Los Angeles to El Paso by motorcoach*
  • Arrive home

Escorted Tour:

  • Deluxe roundtrip motorcoach transportation from Pebble Hills High School to the Los Angeles area as well as per itinerary while in the Los Angeles area

OPTION – “Meet Us in Southern California” 

Traveler will meet the group in Southern California.  The tour will start at the hotel on December 28th and end at the hotel after breakfast on January 2nd. 

  • Roundtrip transportation from El Paso to Los Angeles is NOT included
  • Deluxe motorcoach transfers from and to the airport on arrival and departure days are NOT included
  • The tour price remains the same as the Escorted Tour as a seat on the motorcoach will be held for the traveler from El Paso.  

PRICING

Escorted Tour Package Price: 

4 adults per room      $1,799 per person
3 adults per room      $1,899 per person

2 adults per room       $2,049 per person
1 adult per room         $2,549 per person                      

Child Under 18*          $1,349 per person

*Room must be shared with 1-3 adults.  Adult package based on number of adults in the room.  Child rate is then added.

Tour is based on a minimum of 40 people per motorcoach and a maximum of 52 people on a motorcoach.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE, CANCELLATION FEES & TRAVEL INSURANCE

Payment Schedule: 

  • $1,000 per person due at registration for adults
  • $   500 per person due at registration for children 
  • Final Balance due November 22, 2024

Cancellation Fees:  Cancellations from initial deposit – November 22, 2024 will incur a $750 per person cancellation fee. No refund will be given for cancellations after November 22, 2024.

Travel Insurance: Grueninger Music Tours strongly recommends that travelers purchase a travel protection plan. Travel protection safeguards your travel investment, your belongings and most importantly, you. Your travel protection plan should cover, at a minimum, cancellation, curtailment, medical, emergency travel and personal accidents, and damage or loss to personal belongings. Travel protection with Cancel for Any Reason coverage is available as well. The cost of the travel protection plan depends on the cost of the tour package purchased.
