BAND ITINERARY

Friday, December 27

Fly from Mexico City to Tijuana. Upon arrival, cross into the US by way of the Cross Border Xpress. The CBX bridge connects the Tijuana International Airport with its terminal in San Diego (border crossing tickets not included).

Meet your GMT representative in San Diego and load your awaiting motorcoaches. Rehearse at a local school and have a box lunch. Enjoy the sun and sand at Santa Monica Beach and Pier. Have dinner and then transfer to Pasadena. Get ready to see the magnificent floats up close and help with float construction, putting some final touches on these amazing pieces of floral artwork. Check onto your hotel.

Saturday, December 28

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Disneyland and perform in the parade down Main Street. Enjoy lunch (on own) and dinner in the park (included).

Sunday, December 29

After breakfast at the hotel, head back to Pasadena. Take a group photo in front of the Rose Bowl Stadium and enjoy an In-N-Out burger for lunch (included). Perform in Bandfest (details pending) and then drive the parade route. Attend the All Band Party with dinner (included); meet band members from other bands and enjoy a fun evening.

Monday, December 30

After breakfast at the hotel and a morning rehearsal, visit Universal Studios Hollywood. Enjoy lunch (on own) and dinner in the park (included).

Tuesday, December 31

After breakfast at the hotel and a morning rehearsal, visit Hollywood and the Griffith Observatory. Enjoy lunch (on own). Make a stop at Farmer’s Market to explore and shop. Have dinner from one of the many food vendors (included). Return to hotel and enjoy a ice cream sundae bar while you ring in the New Year with your fellow band members (on East Coast time, 9:00pm PST).

Wednesday, January 1

After an included box breakfast from the hotel, march in the 136th Rose Parade! Savor an In-N-Out Burger provided by the Tournament of Roses after the parade. Return to the hotel, relax and watch the parade re-runs. Enjoy a Dinner and Dance Celebration at the hotel.

Thursday, January 2

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Knotts Berry Farm. Enjoy lunch (on own) and dinner in the park (included).

Friday, January 3

After breakfast at the hotel (based on flight schedules), load motorcoaches and depart for San Diego. Cross into the Mexico by way of the Cross Border Xpress. The CBX bridge connects the terminal in San Diego to the Tijuana International Airport (border crossing tickets not included). Fly from Tijuana to Mexico City. Lunch (own on) & dinner (on own). Late arrival back to Mexico City.
